Rekero Camp Masai Mara

The minute you arrive at the enterance of Rekero Camp, you know you are in good hands. The staff welcome, the location of Rekero Camp right by Talek River and one of the best game-viewing areas in Masai Mara National Reserve, the conservation and community effort behind Asilia, you know you will feel good about your stay in Masai Mara.

If lucky, you don’t have to leave camp to enjoy some lovely wildlife viewing right from the deck.

With only 9 rooms [2 Family Rooms are available] at Rekero Camp, each of the rooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms. Rooms have a earthy feel which blend in well with surronding. With a day-bed and chair in front of the rooms, enjoy Talek River from the comfort of your tent. Showers have hot water running 24 hours so you can come into camp late from your game drive, and go straight to the camp fire before dinner and shower later.

The lounge area is right by the Talek River. You have two areas to chill before/after your Safari where the lovely staff of Rekero Camp will pamper you with your drinks of your choice and a array of snacks.

Lunch is usually an outdoor event under the tree [weather permitting] with the river gently flowing behind or if the rains have blessed the Mara, a roaring rush. Dinner will be by candlelight in the main area or the cozy lounge if the group is small. Either way, expect lots of pampering and yummy food.
