Recently opened for walking, we are very excited to offer a walking Safari within the Serengeti National Park boundaries - untouched for the past 50+ years. You will enjoy 4 days of up close encounters with nature - the big and small. You are in for a thrill of a lifetime....on foot!
Safari Itinerary Overview ::
| Day 1: | Arrival into Arusha for your exclusive walking Safari within the Serengeti National Park boundaries. An adventure awaits you! | River Tree House |
| Day 2: | To Ngorongoro Highlands where you can spend the day with Ole Dorop, the local maasai chief. You can hike the area with the Maasai, sit and listen to them talk about their lifestyle or relax on your tent porch. | Landana or Msigiyo Camp |
| Day 3: | Enter Ngorongoro Crater, a permanet home to many animals from the large elephant bull to the small birds. The only animal missing is the giraffe - they can not scale the 2,000 ft crater wall. | Landana or Msigiyo Camp |
| Day 4: | Spend a full day hiking with Ole Dorop. You can hike to the peaks of Lemagrut, to the Eyasi viewpoint or Serengeti. | Landana or Msigiyo Camp |
| Day 5-6: | To Serengeti National Park, one the great National Parks in Africa. Serengeti is always exciting. We will take you to the right spots for the best viewing. | |
| Day 7-10: | The adventures in Serengeti begin by foot! Accompanied by an armed ranger, you will be able to get closer to absolutely everything - from the footprint to the big animals we dare not get too close too. You will be going slowly. Learn about the plant and tree properties. Sit by the waterhole and watch the animals come for a drink. Get your heart racing when walking in this exclusive area. | |
| Day 11: | Leaving the wilderness area, head to the Serengeti airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Day room for relaxing or shopping. To Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home. |
